THC DJs are Back to Bend Genres with Blaze: Versa

Remember that electric energy that took over the Bernard Shaw and Racket Space on 4/20? The one we couldn't stop buzzing about in our last article, where THC DJs orchestrated a multi-stage phenomenon with 40 DJs from 14 collectives? Well, get ready, because they're back, and they're bringing an even wilder concept to the Dublin underground: Blaze: Versa.

We've been actively involved, documenting and supporting Dublin's vibrant music and creative scenes from the grassroots up. We've seen firsthand the dedication and passion that crews like THC DJs pour into their events, and their commitment to amplifying the true DIY spirit of the city. We loved covering their last Blaze event, seeing how Eskay, Intervention, 23-DB, Bobski and Dpaw pulled together something truly special. The buzz from that day, as Intervention put it, was all about "championing the underground scene and giving props to all the crews out there putting in the work." That's exactly why we're so stoked to witness and document this next evolution of their vision.

Blaze: Versa isn't just a follow-up; it's a bold step forward. This isn't your average club night. THC DJs are cooking up a genre-bending, bass-heavy showdown where collectives aren't just sharing a lineup, they're colliding and cross-pollinating for one unforgettable day-to-night takeover. It's a full-spectrum gauntlet, kicking off in the open-air chaos of Eatyard and diving headfirst into the after-hours intensity at Racket Space.

The daylight hours at Eatyard (12 PM – 10 PM) are set to ignite with an Open Deck for the early birds, giving a platform to fresh selectors going b2b. Then, it's straight into Crew vs. Crew action. Each collective gets to bring their A-game, throwing down whatever they want. Expect wild genre swings, raw energy, and heavy vibes as these crews battle for dominance. It's exactly the kind of unbridled creativity that makes Dublin's underground so exciting.

As the sun sets, the action moves indoors to Racket Space (10 PM – 3 AM) for the Versa in full effect. Here, individual THC DJs will go b2b with selectors from other crews. This is where the magic really happens: curated chaos, unexpected synergy, and absolutely no setlists. You genuinely won't know what's coming next, and that's the whole point. It's about pushing boundaries, fostering collaboration, and letting the music lead the way.
